Hedgepig

In my last entry I mentioned the farting hedgehog toys which came home to live with us. Jo posted a comment saying that her pooper is a huge fan of said "Hedgepig." A wonderfully apt name, which I am adopting hithertoforth.

Jo describes her dog carefully disecting the stuffed being until the farting mechanism is exposed and released from its furry prison.

Well, Brodie did the same thing, about 2 minutes after I posted my entry on the 7th. She wasn't very careful about removing the plastic farting portion. Jess and I were shocked to discover the plastic tube and the rubber band and the insidiously bowel-esque appearance of the item.

Now one hedgepig does not fart because of the disembowelment. The other doesn't because it probably got punctured or something, but it still resides within its pig. It makes a sad, pathetic "pfth" noise when bitten or squished. But no longer emits its mighty fart.

Sad.

Well, this is a quick entry. I was up excessively early due to the unavoidable need to pee and Geoff's alarm clock going off. Coffee, dogs and breakfast later, I find myself with more than 1/2 hour before chaos time and Geoff's bus. I ought to make use of it and shower leisurely instead of hurriedly.
